Howard D. Jordan, O.D
Dr. Jordan is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He has been in practice since 1976. He is on the clinical staff at the College of Optometry at The Ohio State University, in addition to his private practice duties. He is a member of the American Optometric Association. He is certified in both diagnostic and therapeutic ocular applications by the Ohio State Board of Optometry.

Jennifer L. Schmelzer, O.D.
Jennifer L. Schmelzer, O.D. received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2002. In 2007, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
After finishing optometry school, Dr. Schmelzer completed a post-graduate residency program at the Chillicothe VA and Chalmers P. Wylie Outpatient Clinic in Columbus where she gained more experience in ocular disease diagnosis and management.
Before starting at Bethel Vision Center in May 2009, she enhanced her knowledge in several areas of optometry. One such place was working in a private practice in Marion, Ohio as a primary eye care provider. Dr. Schmelzer also worked in a LASIK vision center to test for surgical candidacy and administered full eye exams in various nursing homes around Ohio.
At Bethel Vision Center, she splits her time between the two offices in Columbus and London, Ohio. At both locations, she fits the best contact lenses for each individual. She can also successfully treat and/or manage glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, eye infections, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She makes sure to customize the exam to best accommodate the patients needs.
Dr. Schmelzer is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
